SE60-2012 VOC Exempt Lubricant (water-based)

SE60-2102 VOC Exempt Lubricant is a non-flammable, non-toxic and non- reactive silicone emulsion that is comprised of 60% active silicone (Polydimethylsiloxane fluid). It is exempt from federal VOC regulations including California CARB, South Coast Air Quality and OTC.

SE60-2012 VOC Exempt Lubricant is compatible with virtually all plastic and rubber surfaces including EPDM, Neoprene, Natural Rubber, Teflon, virgin, Butyl, Nitrile, Styrene Butadiene, Buna-N, PVC, LDPE, HDPE.

SE60 is a concentrate that can be diluted by simply adding water. One gallon can make 10-gallons of finished product by simply adding water. In comparison to an aerosol, SE60-2012 is significantly less expensive and does not have the combustion hazard of aerosol products. It can be used on hot surfaces without the concerns of flashing. Unlike an aerosol, there are no restrictions to ship SE60- 2012 via ground, air or ocean.

For lubricating plastic and rubber parts/components, there is no better choice than a silicone-based product. The active ingredient of SE60-2012 is Polydimethylsiloxane, which is composed of 100% synthetic material. Unlike conventional petroleum and glycol-based products, silicone fluids are compatible with virtually all plastic and rubber materials including EPDM, Neoprene, Natural Rubber, Teflon, virgin, Butyl, Nitrile, Styrene Butadiene, Buna-N, PVC, LDPE, HDPE.

Although silicones are not recommended for metal-to-metal applications, they are strongly recommended for metal-to-plastic and metal-to-rubber applications.
