Products Description: Clearco Pure Silicone Fluids are clear, colorless and odorless linear 100% polydimethylsiloxane (CAS # 63148-62-9) fluids that range in viscosity from 0.65cSt to 20,000,000 (20 million) cSt.

Viscosities above 5cSt are characterized by their wide service temperature range, high resistance to oxidation, high damping action, excellent lubricity, compatibility with o-rings, gaskets and valve materials, and high dielectric strength.

Lower viscosities are characterized by their low pour points, low temperature stability, low viscosity and low viscosity change (even at extremely low temperatures), low surface tension, high compressibility and high dielectric strength.

Clearco Volatile Silicones have excellent low temperature stability and unique volatility characteristics. They are used in a variety of personal care products.

Due to their volatility (varying rates of evaporation), low surface tensions (high spreadability), and non-greasy feel, they are used as base fluids, carrying agents and wetting agents in a wide range of personal care products. Super Hi-Vis Silicone Fluids are characterized by their high damping action, extremely high viscosities, high molecular weight, excellent lubricity, inertness to plastics, rubbers and metals, high dielectric strength, high resistance to shear, thermal stability, wide service temperature range and low viscosity change at temperature.

Clearco High Viscosity Pure Silicone Fluids meet Federal Specification VV-D-1078 "Silicone as Damping Fluid". They are used in a wide range of military, industrial and avionic gauges, meters, instruments, and monitoring systems, and o-ring, gasket, valve and seal lubricants. In addition, they are used to coat and lubricate a wide range of o-rings, gaskets, valves and seals.

Clearco Pure Silicone Fluids (Polydimethylsiloxane Fluids) are exempt from Federal VOC regulations, including California (CARB) and OTC regulations. They are HAP free and will not contribute to ozone-depletion and global warming. In addition, they meet RoHS Compliancy.
