Use: Clearco High Temp Silicone Bath Fluid is polydimethylsiloxane fluid (CAS # 63148-62-9) that is formulated with an iron-siloxane additive to significantly enhance thermal stability and resistance to oxidation in an open system (presence of air). It is recommended for use as a high temperature bath fluid as well as a heat transfer fluid in baths with temperatures exceeding 200C (see gel times on Spec sheet).

HT-110 Hi-Temp Silicone Bath Fluid withstands high temperatures and remain stable with little viscosity change. It exhibits a high resistance to oxidation and gumming, as well as providing physical stability and uniform performance in mechano-fluid devices and controls.

HT-110 Hi-Temp Silicone Bath Fluid is a cost-effective alternative to Phenylmethyl and Diphenyl-dimethyl silicones for bath exceeding 200C. However, if you need a clear, colorless fluid for stability above 200C, we recommend the DPDM-400 Diphenyl-Dimethyl Fluid or the PM-125 Phenylmethyl Fluid.
