Description: Super Low Viscosity Pure Silicone Fluids are clear, colorless & odorless volatile Polydimethylsiloxane / PDMS Silicone oils with viscosities of 0.65cst, 1cSt, 1.5cSt & 2cSt (centistokes) measured @ 25°C.
They are characterized by their water-like viscosities, low pour points, hydrophobic nature, low surface tensions (high spreadability), volatile nature, stability at low temperature, , low viscosity‐to‐temperature coefficients (low viscosity increase even at extremely low temperatures), & low molecular weight.
Unlike conventional PDMS silicone oil, Super Low Viscosity Silicone Fluids are volatile and will evaporate in open to air. They behave more like solvents than conventional PDMS Silicone oils.
The refractive index values of Super Low Viscosity Pure Silicone Fluids also make them widely used in Optics research, LED technologies & Sensor technologies.
