Description: Super High Viscosity Pure Silicone Fluids are clear & odorless 100% linear Polydimethylsiloxane (CAS#63148-62-9) / PDMS Silicone fluids with viscosities of 300,000cst, 6000,000cSt & 1,000,000cSt (centistokes) measured @ 25°C.
They are characterized by their hydrophobic nature, high viscosities, wide service temperature range, excellent lubricity, high damping action, low V.T.C. (low viscosity change at temperature), and inertness.
Super High Viscosity Silicone Fluids are widely used in Flow Control, Temperature Control and Motion Control technologies. They are especially advantageous for use as damping fluids for instruments, gauges and devices that require a high viscosity/high damping action with little viscosity change.
